Red Beers & Rice

Red Beers & Rice Lager

Tue, Feb 1 - Tue, Mar 1, All Locations

We collaborated with our friends, Hollow Spirit and Nexus Brewery, for a beer to benefit the Welstand Foundation. Red Beers & Rice was brewed in celebration of the classic Southern dish, Red Beans and Rice, which reflects the deep and complex history of food and tradition from which American cuisine has grown. Mirroring that complexity, Red Beers and Rice is a rich lager with a strong base of rice to balance the robust flavors of earthy hops and dark malts, which create the red hue.

$1 per pint will be donated to the Welstand Foundation whose mission is to improve health equity for people of color in New Mexico.

MAM

Love Beer, Hate Cancer

Love Beer, Hate Cancer

Sat, Aug 6, 3-10pm , Downtown

Camp Enchantment is a camp for children, ages 7 to 17, from all over the state of New Mexico, who are in treatment for cancer or in survivorship from cancer. They serve approximately 200 children and staff at the Fort Lone Tree for Camp Enchantment every year. Their volunteer staff includes doctors, nurses, counselors, artists, and activity coordinators to meet the needs of our campers and to make a memorable and fun camp week. The volunteer staff includes pediatric cancer survivors and siblings who attended camp as children. The camp experience gives our children a much-needed return to their youth, and the program gives the families of these children a much-needed reprieve from the intense responsibility of caring for a child with cancer. As we continue to receive more funds from our community, we will look to serve even more children.

Love Beer, Hate Cancer is our annual fundraising event for Camp Enchantment! Camp Enchantment is New Mexico's camp dedicated to helping kids who have or had cancer celebrate life. $1 per 14/16/22oz beer will benefit camp. Don't forget to round your check to the nearest dollar because all proceeds will benefit camp.

AMRC Brewfest

AMRC Brew Fest

Sat, Sep 10, 3pm - 10pm , Downtown

The Albuquerque Mountain Rescue Council (AMRC) is an all-volunteer wilderness search and rescue (SAR) organization composed of individuals with skills in technical rock climbing, winter mountaineering, backpacking, caving and similar activities.  Their members come from many different backgrounds:  medicine, science, engineering, law, teaching, small business ownership and many more.  Individuals join this team for many reasons, but the common thread is a desire to serve the community and help others.  All members of the team understand the great joy of being able to go outside and recreate, as well as the serious dangers that this environment can pose. AMRC is an accredited member of the Mountain Rescue Association (MRA) and New Mexico Search and Rescue Council (NMSARC).

Support AMRC at the Better Call Sar Brewfest. Featuring live music by Karlina Martin, Trinity Soul, Merican Slang, Sweet Roll, and Dusty Low! Sip on a pint of Better Call Sar, a delicious light lager brewed specially for AMRC. We have committed to donating $1 from every pint brewed to AMRC!
